How to contribute to the FADA initiative and database
We invite taxonomic experts who are interested in contributing to the FADA initiative to get in touch with us. Feel free to email Aaike De Wever.
In the autumn of 2015, we revised the Excel template and instructions for importing data into the FADA database. The main change in this "2.1 version" is that we have now included environmental flags to document whether organisms are freshwater, marine and/or terrestrial. This information allows us to exchange data with other initiatives such as the World Register of Marine Species.

In addition to these Excel templates, we are currently developing a data import module that will allow us to process data in the Darwin Core-Archive format.
